    Product guides

Practical guidance for choosing safety products, preparing your site and caring for your installation. Product datasheets and your site quotation provide the details for your project.

    Surface and fixing guide

Tell us what the product will be fixed to so we can assess the installation and choose suitable fixings.

Concrete and asphalt need different fixing methods. Concrete condition, slab thickness, edges and joints can affect the installation. Asphalt can vary in thickness and may cover another surface. Select the surface you can identify on the product or enquiry page; if you are unsure, leave the product fixing choice blank and explain what you know in your enquiry.

Include a wide photo of the location and a close-up of the surface. Mention cracks, loose material, drainage, existing anchors and any known services beneath the work area. Our team will confirm the surface, preparation and fixing method before installation. Do not drill or order fixings based on appearance alone.

    • Identify concrete, asphalt or another surface.
    • Note existing damage, joints, edges and old fixing holes.
    • Share any available plans showing slab details or buried services.

    Installation access guide

Plan access, measurements and work-area availability before your installation is scheduled.

Add the installation address, suburb, product quantities and intended locations to your enquiry. Photos or a marked-up site plan help explain the layout. Tell us about vehicle and pedestrian traffic, delivery restrictions, gates, loading areas and any access arrangements needed for our team.

For bollards and wheel stops, describe the space you need to protect and the vehicles using it. For a suspended clearance bar, the selected option is the bar length, not the permitted vehicle height. Provide the opening width, required clearance and photos of the proposed mounting area so the suspension and mounting can be assessed.

Tell us when the area can be made available, including any preferred out-of-hours work. Discuss surface cleaning, removal of existing products and traffic management with our team. Installation timing and any preparation work will be confirmed for your site in the quotation.

    • Share site photos, measurements and a location plan if available.
    • Identify access restrictions and operating hours.
    • Explain existing equipment that needs removal or relocation.

    Care and warranty guide

Keep installed products visible, inspect them for damage and contact us when they need attention.

Follow the care instructions supplied for your specific product. Periodically check for impact damage, loose or missing fixings, corrosion and worn reflective surfaces. Keep wheel stops and bollards clear of debris and check that signs and mirrors remain visible. Arrange an inspection if a product has been struck or has moved; avoid relying on damaged equipment for protection.

Clean finishes with a soft cloth and a mild cleaning solution unless the product instructions specify otherwise. Avoid abrasive pads or chemicals that could damage coatings, reflective strips or mirror surfaces. Ask our team before adjusting, relocating or replacing fixings.

For product or installation support, send the product details, installation location, quotation or invoice reference if available, and clear photos of the concern. Warranty coverage and any remedy depend on the product, the agreed quotation and the circumstances. Our team will review the information and advise the next step; this guide does not set a new warranty period.

    • Retain your quotation, invoice and product care information.
    • Photograph damage and note when it was first noticed.
    • Contact our team before modifying installed products.
